Preparation through the Ambassador Program can give you
preferred admission to the University of St. Augustine.
To get on the “fast track” to admission in
either the graduate Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
program at the University of St. Augustine, you could be
eligible for the Ambassador Program at select colleges and
universities that have an Ambassador Agreement with our
school.
The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences has
an Ambassador Agreement with the following institutions.
These baccalaureate colleges and universities provide an
educational track that will permit a student to select both
an undergraduate major and a “targeted” post
baccalaureate admission to the University of St. Augustine
entry-level program in either Occupational Therapy or Physical
Therapy.
The student that will select this targeted program track
will meet both their college’s academic requirements
and the academic requirements for the completion of stated
prerequisite courses for admission to the health care programs
at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
This Ambassador Program will facilitate the student’s
efforts toward accomplishing academic goals and professional
development by providing appropriate counseling and guidance
to expedite acceptance into our graduate programs.
Join our satisfied alumni who move quickly into
good clinical positions and satisfying careers. Some of
them say,
“The manual training received at USA has been
most beneficial, and even working as a new graduate, I felt
my manual skills (as did others in my workplace) surpassed
other therapists with greater experience.”
“USA gave me the experience to become a director
of an outpatient orthopedic clinic soon after graduation
and paved the way to my current position as clinic coordinator
of a large not-for-profit hospital in Houston.”
“Faculty knowledge of subject matter –
Fantastic! The evaluation skills and critical thinking emphasized
throughout my education have been strong contributors to
the success with patient evals and treatment. Overall the
education provided by the U.S.A. staff has prepared me well
for the physical therapy profession. Thank you all!”
“I think I was well educated and well prepared
to begin work after graduation. I passed the Boards the
first time, without difficulty. I was offered a job right
after graduation from the site where I did my internship.”
