Jim Viti
A graduate from the University off Maryland in Baltimore in 1984, Dr. Viti received his Manual Therapy Certification from the Institute of Physical Therapy in 1991. He completed his manual therapy residency training in 1996 and received a Master of Science degree in 1997 from the Institute of Physical Therapy. He received his OCS certification in 1999 and a DPT degree from University of St. Augustine in 2002. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists and is currently teaching full time at the University of St. Augustine in both the entry level and advanced studies programs. He continues to work clinically at Brook's Rehabilitation in St. Augustine Florida and supervises in both the advanced residency program, as well as the student physical therapy outpatient clinic at University of Saint Augustine. Dr. Viti has 14 peer reviewed publications including abstracts, case reports and research articles related to orthopedics, biomechanics and manual therapy issues. His research interests include examination and treatment of spinal dysfunction. He recently received the Freddy Kaltenborn "Teach I Must" award for outstanding instruction of orthopedic manual therapy in a clinical residency program, which was awarded by the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
