Tobi Baldwin

Dr. Tobi Baldwin received her Bachelors of Science in Honors Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. While at Western Ontario she was a student athletic trainer for the hockey team which led to her interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy. She attended the University of St. Augustine for her entry level physical therapy education and received her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2000. After graduating from USA, Dr. Baldwin worked in Chicago in the outpatient orthopedic setting. In 2003, Dr. Baldwin returned to St. Augustine to participate in the Manual Therapy Fellowship that the University offers. She was able to be mentored clinically by Dr. Paris, Dr. Patla, Dr. Rot and Dr. Viti. Upon completing the fellowship and her transitional DPT in 2004, Dr. Baldwin was offered a faculty position at USA. In 2004 she also became a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and passed her OCS in 2005.

Dr. Baldwin currently teaches Musculoskeletal I and Musculoskeletal III in the entry level DPT program in St. Augustine. She also teaches Musculoskeletal I online for the Flex program in Boca Raton. Dr. Baldwin’s other online responsibilities include the Medical Diagnostics course for the entry level students as well as some course writing. Dr. Baldwin travels nationally and internationally to teach E1 Extremity Evaluation and Manipulation as a continuing professional education course for the University. She is also a mentor in the manual therapy fellowship. She is a member of the APTA and the AAOMPT.

Dr. Baldwin is married to a physical therapist and has a daughter named Caroline. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, working around the house and watching LSU football with her husband.
