Ellen Lowe is an associate professor in the entry-level DPT program at the San Diego campus of the University of St. Augustine. Dr. Lowe received her Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Boston University, her Master of Health Sciences from the University of Indianapolis, and her PhD in Health Sciences with an emphasis on health research from Touro University International. She is a credentialed trainer for the APTA Clinical Instructor Education and Credentialing Program. She has practiced in a variety of treatment settings including acute care, outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing facilities, hand therapy, and pediatrics. She has also served as an academic coordinator of clinical education. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Orthopaedic and Education sections. At University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, San Diego, Dr. Lowe is the lead instructor for Skills and Procedures, Wellness I, and Physical Modalities. Copyright
