Anne Hull
Anne Hull joined the occupational therapy faculty in April, 2005. Anne has a diverse background in occupational therapy - clinically, academically and administratively. She has worked in several types of clinic settings; most recently providing direct and consultative services in school based practice, with an emphasis on populations with severe and profound disabilities. She has taught at five other universities across the country and most recently was Director of Professional Development and Competency at the AOTA.
Anne is originally from Detroit, MI and received her occupational therapy degree from Western Michigan University, a MS in Education from the University of Michigan and a MA in Developmental Psychology from Florida International University. Work and family responsibilities have resulted in frequent relocations - a total of 9 states in the past 20 years. This is the second time living in Florida and she hopes it's a long stay. She also commented on how different north and south Florida are, since her previous stay was in Miami: "they are two different experiences - very different cultures".
Anne has taken responsibility for teaching first and second trimester occupational therapy (OCT) courses and is developing an online course on Autism Spectrum Disorders.
