Dr. Nitsch is the Director of the DPT Program in San Diego, and an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy First Professional Division. Dr. Nitsch earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree and a Certification in Manual Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She completed her PhD in Education, with a specialty in higher education administration from Capella University. Dr. Nitsch has previously served as Director of the Transitional DPT Program at the University of St. Augustine and an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, Department of Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association's Orthopaedic and Education Section and serves as secretary of the Academic Faculty Special Interest Group. Dr. Nitsch is also an accreditation site examiner for the Distance Education and Training Council. Her research interests are in postural influences of the upper quarter, examination tests and measures reliability, and educational administrative issues related to distance education. Copyright
