Kay Tasso
As the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education, Dr. Kay Tasso is responsible for coordination and oversight of all physical therapy part-time and full-time clinical experiences. Dr. Tasso obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University, her Master of Arts in Education from Virginia Tech, and her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Florida.
Dr. Tasso is a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Florida Physical Therapy Association, and pediatric and education sections. Dr. Tasso has been inducted into the Academy of Advanced Item Writers by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy. She received the Outstanding Graduate Research Award from the College of Education at the University of Florida and has been named in Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Dr. Tasso also actively participates in the Florida Consortium of Clinical Educators.
Dr. Tasso's hobbies include traveling with her family and amateur photography.
