Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan is a service that can obtain copies of articles from libraries throughout the world. Any University of St. Augustine student, faculty, or staff member can request materials through Interlibrary Loan.

For journal article photocopies, copyright laws require us to limit the number of journal articles photocopies we can request from a single issue or volume of a journal. We will inform you if you exceed the limit.

The time to receive an article and the cost depends largely on the materials requested. Generally, most items arrive at the University of St. Augustine Library within 3-5 days. However, some items may take longer, plan ahead if you need material not owned by the University.

Fees for obtaining a copy of an article vary depending on the lending institution. The cost can range from $0 up to $14 per article. When requesting an article, please indicate a maximum cost you are willing to pay per article.

To request an article:

  • Fill out the ILL form
  • Fax your requests to the Library at (904) 826-0085
  • Email your request to library@usa.edu

If you have any questions about Interlibrary Loan service, please contact the library.
