Matthew DaughertyA graduate from the honors program at University of Akron in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Education, Dr. Daugherty then went on to pursue the Dual Degree option from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USA). He received his Masters in Occupational Therapy (MOT) in 2006 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007 from USA, graduating with honors. Dr. Daugherty received his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) in 2009 and completed a full time fellowship in orthopaedic manual physical therapy, accredited through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) in December 2010. The fellowship included lecture and lab teaching duties in both musculoskeletal (MSK) I and MSK III. Dr. Daugherty has 5 years of clinical experience with a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions. He practiced with a small outpatient clinic in Sarasota, Florida before returning to USA for the fellowship program. He has maintained both licenses and used his dual degrees to further his orthopaedic experience including upper extremity pathology.
