Mary Anne Riopel

Dr. Mary Anne Riopel graduated from Hahnemann University with a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1996.  She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2008 from Regis University.  Dr. Riopel has been an ABPTS board certified orthopedic clinical specialist since 2004.

Dr. Riopel has practiced in a variety of physical therapy settings with an emphasis on orthopedics since 1996.  She taught courses in ethics, professional development, professional issues, clinical decision making, and orthopedics as an adjunct professor at Regis University, Florida International University, and Temple University.

She is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Augustine on the St. Augustine campus and also serves as an Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education.  Dr. Riopel currently teaches Practicum I, Practicum II, and Internship I to entry level Doctor of Physical Therapy students.  Research interests include how to foster student learning in the clinical environment, the use of standardized outcome measures in orthopedics, and manual therapy in general.
