Tammy LeSage

Ms. LeSage joined the Occupational Therapy Faculty at the University of St. Augustine in 2001. She received her MOT degree from Texas Woman's University in 1983 and holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from Judson College.

Ms. LeSage is a certified hand therapist (CHT) and has over 18 years of clinical experience with hand and upper extremity pathologies. Previously, she has held hand therapy clinical positions at the University of Alabama Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama and the Jewett Orthopedic Clinic in Orlando, Florida. Because of her passion for hand therapy and sharing of knowledge with others, Tammy pursued a teaching career and began instructing hand therapy workshops in 1996. She continues to teach weekend workshops on the USA campus to the occupational therapy community for Physical Agent Modality certification. She currently teaches on campus Occupational Therapy courses Orthotics and Prosthetics, Physical Agent Modalities, and is the Fieldwork Coordinator for Occupational Therapy students.

Ms. LeSage is an active Member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and has held offices on the board of directors for the past two years. She continues to practice in St. Augustine at Hand Therapy Specialist of Florida, Inc., a private practice she and her CHT colleagues opened in 2006.
