Annie Burke-Doe Dr. Burke-Doe graduated from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California in 1990 with B.A. degree in Sports Medicine. She earned her Masters in Physical Therapy from University of California San Francisco in 1992. Following graduation Dr. Burke-Doe worked in the areas of neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation both in the acute and outpatient settings. Dr. Burke-Doe completed her Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of the Pacific, Stockton, California in 2003. Following this, she was part of the physical therapy faculty at California State University, Fresno. Dr. Burke-Doe has recently joined the faculty at University of St. Augustine for Health Science in San Diego, California where she teaches medical physiology, scientific research and pharmacology. Her research interests included the impact of drug therapies on physical rehabilitation, osteoporosis risk factors and interventions, and neuroplasticity of the brain in the presence of neurotransmitters post-stroke. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association's Education and Research sections. Dr. Burke-Doe specializes in pediatric physical therapy.
