Joanne Laslovich Dr. Joanne Laslovich graduated with a B.A. in Physical Education from California State University, Sacramento in 1977 and completed her B.S. in Physical Therapy at California State University, Fresno in 1979. She earned her master's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Fresno and her DPT from A.T. Still University - Arizona School of Health Sciences.Dr. Laslovich has taught in physical therapy education for the past 28 years including academic appointments at California State University, Fresno and Maryville University - St. Louis. She has taught courses in cardiopulmonary physical therapy, pathophysiology, gerontology, medical terminology and clinical education. She is currently an Associate Professor and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education at the University of St. Augustine - San Marcos with teaching responsibilities in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy, Practicum I, Practicum II, along with Internship I, II, III and IV. Her research interests include clinical teaching behaviors in physical therapy and incorporating global perspectives in clinical education curricula.
