Through completion of this program, students will:
• Use standardized and non-standardized procedures to evaluate and assess a variety of clients across the age span.
• Interpret assessment results and plan skilled, cost-effective, evidence-based occupational therapy intervention with an identified frame of reference.
• Use the process of clinical reasoning to implement and adapt holistic client intervention programs emphasizing the use of purposeful activity.
• Establish and maintain an ethical and appropriate therapeutic relationship.
• Demonstrate professional competence, communication and documentation skills.
• Demonstrate self directed learning skills in preparation to become a life long learner and contributor to the profession of occupational therapy.
