Registration Information

Seminars & Courses

Seminars and courses are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Select the seminar(s)/course(s) you would like to attend and complete the registration form (one form per attendee). Seminar dates, locations and tuition are subject to change.

You must acknowledge that you have read the refund policy statement before completing the online registration form.

Notice is sent when class is confirmed. Please verify the seminar/course has been confirmed before booking non-refundable reservations by calling the Continuing Professional Education Department 1-800-241-1027.

Eligibility

Physical therapists who are members or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association may attend the University's seminars. Specified seminars are open to occupational therapists, occupational therapist assistants and physical therapist assistants.

Registration-Deposit

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required when registering for a seminar.
A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required when registering for a certification.

Registration-Balance & Refund Policy

  • Tuition is due 30 days prior to the first day of the seminar.
  • With 2 weeks notice of cancellation, tuition will be transferred to another seminar, put into a funds on hold account, or the balance will be refunded.
  • Cancellation up to 3 working days prior to the start of the seminar, 50% of balance will be refunded.
  • With 3 working days notice, 100% of balance can be transferred to another seminar or put into a funds on hold account. No refunds will be issued.
  • Transfer of funds is limited to 2 seminars.

• After the seminar begins, no refunds issued or transfers allowed.

Registration Discounts

Team Discount - Two or more persons from the same facility, registering for the same seminar at the same time, receive a 10% discount at the time of registration. Advance notice and full payment required, does not apply after the 1st day of a seminar. Multiple Seminar Discount - Register and pay in full for two or more seminars at the same time and receive a 10% discount. Audit Seminar Discount - Register and pay in full for a seminar previously attended/completed and receive a 50% discount.  Above discounts may not be combined with any other discounts or previous registrations.

Cancellation of Seminars by the University

The University does not wish to cancel advertised seminars. However, it does sometimes become necessary and 3 weeks prior to the start of the seminar, the seminar may be cancelled. Registrants are notified a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the seminar start date. The University is not responsible for non-refundable airline tickets and other commitments. You may transfer to another seminar or request a full refund if a cancellation does occur.


Release of Liability

All registrants will be required to sign a release of liability the first day of the seminar. This is a usual and customary requirement.

Seminars by Other Instructors & Programs

The University is unable to recognize prerequisite seminars given by instructors outside of the University.
