Functional Exercise Training and Rehabilitation

This course is designed to provide both the clinical & scientific rationale for the current trends and new research in therapeutic exercise training. Participants will be provided with state of the art information to enhance their understanding and clinical effectiveness in the design of therapeutic exercise programs. Emphasis will be on the development of an appropriate rehabilitation program based on knowledge of the physiologic condition, type & stage of injury, repair/recovery process, and specific requirements which allow the patient to return to his/her chosen activity in the shortest time possible without suffering re-injury or exacerbation of the condition.
