Optional Specialization in Health Informatics
Students enrolled in the MHA Informatics/Business Intelligence Specialization will be exposed to this growing interdisciplinary field which uses computers, information technology, and other IT-based innovations to analyze data and manage healthcare records. Health informaticists play an important role in facilitating collaboration between various healthcare providers which can lead to improvements in patient care and the outcomes in many healthcare situations.
