Jeffrey Lagasse is the Executive Director of University Finance with the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In this role, he leads a team providing all aspects of finance, including financial analysis, accounting, and bursar. Mr. Lagasse is a qualified financial leader with a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Roger Williams University.
Mr. Lagasse spent more than 15 years as a financial operations leader in various capacities. He built and led finance organizations responsible for financial analysis, accounting and bursar/student accounts. Before joining the University of St. Augustine in 2017, Mr. Lagasse worked for Career Education Corporation for 14 years in various school and corporate divisional finance roles.
Mr. Lagasse helps university leadership allocate resources efficiently and effectively to successfully position it for future growth. He offers a wide range of programs and services, from financial analysis (budgets; forecasts; long-range plans; and program, campus, and new investment analysis), accounting (in partnership with a centralized accounting team) and student accounts/bursar (in partnership with a centralized billing and collections team).
