Christine Sibley has been a Contributing Faculty member since January 2018.  She is currently the Assistant Vice-President, Reimbursement for Atrium Health (Carolinas HealthCare System) in  Charlotte, NC. Christine entered the healthcare finance field in 2005 working for WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC and joined her current employer in 2010.  Prior to transitioning to healthcare Christine was an executive with RBC Financial Group, one of North America’s leading diversified financial services companies.  

 She is a certified public accountant (Canada) and a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.  An active member of the North Carolina Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association, Christine was awarded the Frederick T. Muncie Gold Award in 2018 for her contributions. She earned the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional designation in 2008 and the Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association designation in 2015. She serves on the Board, and is a regular facilitator of the Chapter’s Healthcare Finance Bootcamp.  

 Christine is a founding member and currently Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Community Singers of Lake Norman, Inc. The chorus was founded in 2017 to promote education in, and public appreciation of, choral singing. 

 Christine’s hobbies include golf, singing, playing piano, and reading. Throughout the year she knits and crochets scarves for the annual Salvation Army Coat Drive, each one colorful and unique, to bring warmth and joy to someone less fortunate.
