Dr. Emily Frank has been a clinical instructor in the Occupational Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Science’s Austin campus since November 2017.
Prior to joining the university, she worked as an occupational therapist in a variety of adult settings including acute care/ICU, inpatient acute rehabilitation, and home health therapy. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the Texas Occupational Therapy Association (TOTA), and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). Dr. Frank is originally from Chicago where she worked clinically at the University of Chicago Medical Center and was adjunct clinical faculty in the Occupational Therapy program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also worked closely with the Illinois Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society to provide caregiver training.
Dr. Frank is currently engaged in research focused on the lived experience of caregivers and caregiver challenge as well as clinical practice providing services to older adults in the home.
