Dr. Hazel Anderson became a full-time instructor with the University in 2017. Before this, she worked as adjunct faculty in gross anatomy, applied anatomy I and II, patient care management, and therapeutic exercise courses.

Dr. Anderson is originally from Zimbabwe and moved to Scotland to study physiotherapy. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2007 and moved to the United States in 2008. Dr. Anderson completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy through Texas Tech and is working towards her Doctor Of Science at the same institution. For more than 10 years she has lived and worked in Austin, Tx area. Dr. Anderson has worked in numerous hospital and outpatient clinic settings but especially enjoys outpatient orthopedics and incorporating general wellness and health promotion within her sessions.

Dr. Anderson is currently the lead for Patient Care Management I and teaches Biomechanics Wellness and Health Promotion.
