Dr. David earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida and a Doctorate of Education degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy.
Dr. David has worked in a variety of clinical settings including, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient neurologic, outpatient orthopedic, and brain injury day treatment. Her clinical emphasis is working with patients affected by neurological, balance, and vestibular disorders. Dr. David works clinically with adults with neurologic diagnoses at the Challenge Center in La Mesa and children with clubfoot through the non-profit organization, Clubfoot C.A.R.E.S.. She is also an International Para Surfing Medical Classifier for the International Surfing Association and US Open Adaptive Surf Championship and this is a focus of her academic scholarship. She is also Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation and the Neuro-IFRAH approach to treating adults with hemiparesis. Dr. David has been a core faculty member at USAHS since 2013 and currently teaches Pathophysiology, Neuromuscular I, II, and III on the San Marcos campus of the University of St. Augustine in the Flex DPT Program.
