Dr. David is a full time instructor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She teaches in the neuromuscular curriculum in both the Doctoral of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Flex programs.
Dr. David earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Florida State University and her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Florida. She received a Doctorate of Education from the University of St. Augustine. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy (NCS).
Dr. David has clinical experience in a variety of settings with an emphasis on working with patients affected by neurological, balance, and vestibular disorders. She received her certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation, as sponsored by Emory University and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is certified in the Neuro-IFRAH approach to treating adults with hemiparesis, and LSVT BIG training for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. She has a passion for working with patients with brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury.
