Dr. Tony Lozano earned his medical degree from the Universidad de Monterrey (UdeM) in Monterrey, Mexico and completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the State University of Nuevo Leon, (UANL) in Monterrey, Mexico, followed with a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at the State University of New York (SUNY), at Stony Brook, NY.
His experience with diagnostic work up in clinic, ER, and performing surgery providing the best quality of care highlights his professional career. He was appointed chair of the orthopedic division for the University of Monterrey at the Christus Muguerza Hospital and head of the orthopedic residency program from 2002 to 2011. Dr. Lozano was appointed director of the Master of Orthopedic Assistant program for the University until August 2016. Currently, he continues with academic assignments as an assistant professor in the DPT Program dedicated in teaching Anatomy since December 2014, and as an online instructor for the course on Imaging for Physical Therapists, since summer of 2013.
