Julie A. Evener is director of the university’s library services, which includes providing access to materials and programs, and the coordinating all on-campus activities to benefit students in all programs and locations. She also teaches several courses pertaining to research and evidence-based practice at the university.
Evener has published her work in the Journal of the Medical Library Association, presented at the WSCUC Academic Resource Conference in Oakland, California, the Distance Library Services Conference in Denver, and at the Florida Association of College & Research Libraries in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She is a member of the Library Leadership & Management Association, the Florida Health Sciences Library Association, the Florida Library Association, the American Library Association, and the Association of College & Research Libraries.
Evener is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) at Walden University.
