Dr. Raymond is an Assistant Professor and Acamedic Coordinator of Clinical Education in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. Dr. Raymond obtained a BSPT from Northwestern University, a MS in Management of Rehabilitation Services from DePaul University, and a DHS in Health Professions from Midwestern University.
Dr. Raymond’s clinical and academic experiences throughout her career contribute to providing students with an education that reflects values of professionalism, emphasizes current practice and promotes critical thinking and lifelong learning. She holds physical therapy licenses in Illinois, Indiana, and California.
Prior to joining USAHS, Dr. Raymond worked in a PTA program as tenured faculty and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education. Dr. Raymond is an American Physical Therapy Association Certified Clinical Instructor.
Dr. Raymond served the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy as an item writer for the PTA Examination in 2015 and presented a poster presentation titled “PTA Students’ Critical Thinking Skills as a Correlation of Clinical Performance in an Entry-Level PTA Education Program” at the Education Leadership Conference in 2018.
