Dr. Aldea, Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE), earned a BS in exercise science from Rutgers University in 2001, a DPT in physical therapy from Dominican College in 2010, and a DHSc from A.T. Still University in 2016. Dr. Aldea has extensive clinical experience in physical therapy, including subacute care and outpatient orthopedics. He has worked in various outpatient orthopedic clinics in New Jersey, including experience as director and site manager. His teaching experience includes introduction to critical inquiry, basic assessment skills, evaluation & treatment of the extremity & spinal orthopedic treatment, advanced orthopedic assessment & treatment of the complex patient through the lifespan, palpation & soft tissue techniques, and pain science. He is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor for the APTA. He is currently enrolled in USA’s Orthopedic Fellowship program to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
