Dr. Jeantete became a core faculty member in April 2017 after three years as a contributing faculty member on the Austin campus. In her clinical practice, Dr. Jeantete has specialized in pediatric populations and has provided services through models of delivery including early intervention, school-based practice, nonprofit and for-profit outpatient clinics, home health, and as director of a pediatric clinic.
In her first years of practice, Dr. Jeantete was employed at an adult outpatient clinic where she worked with clients recovering from a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, giving her a broad perspective of conditions across the lifespan. She is a member and has ongoing volunteer roles with the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Texas Occupational Therapy Association.
Dr. Jeantete also continues clinical practice in pediatric home health and is currently assisting in a research study on the reliability of an assessment tool for children with spina bifida.
