Dr. Tammy LeSage has been with the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences since 2001. Her academic appoints include full time faculty and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator since 2006.
Prior to joining the University of St. Augustine, Dr. LeSage traveled and taught hand an upper extremity therapy workshops throughout the United States while practicing as a certified hand therapist with the Jewett Orthopedic Clinic in Orlando, FL for 12 years. She has also practiced at the University of Alabama Birmingham in Birmingham, AL.
While at the University of St. Augustine, Dr. LeSage developed and taught a physical agent modalities (PAMs) seminar for certifying occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants to practice the use of PAMs within the State of Florida. Currently her scholarship focus is on experiential learning, occupational therapy fieldwork and simulation.
