The University of St. Augustine, under the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and 504 federal legislation, is required to make reasonable accommodations to the known physical and mental limitations of otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities.
To help provide the best possible service to students, staff and faculty, the University of St. Augustine has a Director of Disability Services. The responsibilities of this individual include: review of student requests for accommodation, recommendation on all accommodations, faculty and staff education, overseeing access issues and serving as a general liaison to students with disabilities and the university staff and faculty.
