Q: May I ship materials to the University of St. Augustine Campus?

A: Yes, feel free to ship materials to the University one week prior to the fair. Please use the following addresses to ship to any of our campuses:

Please clearly print the company name on your boxes so we can deliver them to your table.  After the fair, you may leave your appropriately labeled boxes at your table for return shipping. Items shipped with UPS will be picked up automatically; all other carriers will need to be called for pick-up.

Q: How/where do I pay for my reservation at the career fair?

Q: What accommodations are available near campus if I am visiting from out of town and need to stay overnight?

University of St. Augustine campuses are located in great destination locations in North San Diego County in California, Austin, TX and close to the beach in St. Augustine, FL. As such there are ample lodging options nearby. See a list of nearby hotels or check your favorite hotel website for availability.

Q: Who participates in the career fair?

A:  Approximately 200-250 physical and occupational therapy have participated in previous fairs.  We encourage students in all semesters to participate, so you will meet some students at the beginning of their graduate education and some who are preparing to graduate.  Please keep in mind that we invite all students in all dress codes to attend. Some students will be coming straight from lab classes and will be dressed in their lab attire, not professional attire. According to our follow-up surveys, companies usually meet about 40 to 50 students.

Q: What time can I arrive to set up?

A: The career fair is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and you may begin setting up at 8:30 a.m.

Q: What is provided at my booth?

A: Each booth will have one 6’ x 1.5’ table and two chairs.  Additional chairs are available upon request.  Also, we have a limited number of outlets in the room. Please notify the event coordinator prior to the event if you will need a power source.  **Please feel free to bring a tablecloth, as they are not provided.  Also, please limit your number of representatives to two people.

Q: Where do I unload and park?

A: When you arrive on campus, you should proceed to the front of the three-story Health Sciences building to unload.   Students will assist you with unloading and will guide you to your booth.  You will not be given a booth assignment prior to the fair.  Parking on campus is limited, but it is available.  Please print out the enclosed parking pass and place it in the windshield of your vehicle.  School representatives will direct you to appropriate parking.  The parking may be in an unpaved lot so please take that into consideration when selecting footwear.

Q: What times during the fair are busiest?

A: Students attend various classes throughout the day and will visit the fair periodically as their schedules allow.  All students have a lunch break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.  You should expect a crowd during this time!  We do not schedule a lunch break for the representatives; when you have time, feel free to take your lunch ticket(s) to the registration table to pick up your lunch and take a few moments to relax.  Lunch tickets will be included in the packet on your table at the fair.

Q: May I have a list of student contact information?

A: Yes.  Following the fair, a list of current students’ names and email addresses will be emailed to you.
