Cadaveric Anatomy: Review for Healthcare Professionals

Prerequisite: None
Who Attends: Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other Healthcare Professionals.
This seminar will take place over a 2-day time period and review functional anatomy of the Upper Extremity, Back/Posterior Neck, Lower Extremity and Thorax (Day 1) and Abdominal Cavity, Pelvic Floor and Anterior Neck, Face (Day 2) utilizing dissected cadavers. Clinical applications and differential diagnosis will be discussed.

DAY ONE
8:30 – 10:00 AM – Welcome- Classroom review of Back, Posterior Neck/ Arm, Flexor Forearm and Hand anatomy
10:00 – 10:15 AM – BREAK
10:15 – 12:30 PM – Cadaver lab Orientation and Review/Dissection of Back, Posterior Neck/ Arm, Flexor Forearm and Hand
12:30 – 1:30 PM – LUNCH HOUR
1:30 – 2:30 PM – Classroom review of Brachial Plexus, Anterior Neck/ Arm, Extensor surface of forearm and hand
2:30 – 3:30 PM – Cadaver lab review of Brachial Plexus, Anterior Neck/ Arm, Extensor surface of forearm and hand
3:30 – 3:45 PM – BREAK
3:45 – 4:45 PM – Classroom Review of Thorax and Anterior/ Medial Leg, Dorsum of foot
4:45 – 5:30 PM – Cadaver lab review of Thorax and Anterior/Medial Leg, Dorsum of foot
