Anatomy and biomechanics of the lumbar spine, thoracic spine, rib cage and the pelvis are discussed. Review and modification of techniques from S 1 – Spinal Evaluation and Manipulation, along with the instruction of additional techniques are provided. An in-depth presentation on the syndromes of the lumbar spine and their treatment is instructed. The utilization of biomechanical and anatomical principles for the enhancement of patient care through manipulation and exercise is emphasized, as is the patient’s role in his/her own welfare.
