Dr. Amanda Grant is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) and a certified orthopedic specialist with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has practiced clinically in the outpatient orthopedic setting for more than 15 years specializing in orthopedics and oncology.

Dr. Grant instructs in the University’s physical therapy programs and continuing education courses. As Director, Residency and Fellowship Programs, she oversees the Clinical Orthopaedic Residency and Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship programs, which are based on the St. Augustine campus and involve extensive one-on-one mentorship.

Dr. Grant has presented nationally on topics including problem-solving and critical thinking relating to kinetic chain dysfunctions and differential diagnosis and clinical management of lymphedema.

She graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006. She then obtained her Manual Therapy Certification and completed the Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship from USAHS.
