Dr. Erin Menefee, a graduate of San Diego State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2017 as a contributing faculty member. In 2022 she became a full-time Assistant Professor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program on the San Marcos, CA campus. Dr. Menefee is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and graduated from Kaiser Permanente’s Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Residency program in 2019.

She has worked in multiple clinical settings, including outpatient orthopedic, inpatient acute care, home-based orthopedic care and sports clinical care. Dr. Menefee contributed to the F.A. Davis publishing company, Improving Functional Outcomes in Physical Rehabilitation, 3rd edition. She also assisted in the case study multimedia editor, chapter reviewer and technique reference guide composer for F.A Davis.
