Eric Chaconas Eric Chaconas is a physical therapist and assistant professor in the entry level Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine. He earned a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Towson University in 2002 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2005. He completed the Manual Therapy Certification program through the University in 2006 and the Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship in 2008.Eric is currently pursuing the PhD in Physical Therapy degree at Nova Southeastern University. His research interests include investigating the diagnostic accuracy of orthopaedic clinical tests and effectiveness of manual therapy techniques and exercise related to patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction.Dr. Chaconas is a mentor in the Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Fellowship program, practices clinically in both the outpatient and home health settings and is the co-chair of the Florida Physical Therapy Associations Government Affairs Committee.
