Hybrid Immersion for MOT Launches

students do online study together MOT flex

Online learning is here to stay and here at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences we’re all about helping as many OTs reach their goal of earning their Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) as possible. If you’re thinking about expanding your skill set and taking the next step in your OT career, we have several different options—we call them “pathways”—and we’re certain that one of them will fit your lifestyle.

We’re super excited to announce our newest flexible pathway, the Hybrid Immersion for MOT. It’s the perfect complement to our Residential MOT (blended online and in-person coursework/labs on campus) and Flex MOT (mainly online, with weekend labs) that allows you to earn your MOT in as little as two years (6 trimesters)Time to completion may vary by student, depending on individual progress, credits transferred and other factors. with online learning and on-campus 3- to 5-day lab immersions two times each term. It’s the same exceptional program, just an alternative pathway that offers the most flexibility to students who need it due to family, work or other commitments. With fewer trips to campus, you can live a little further out—almost in fact—and still earn your MOT as fast and conveniently as if you were right here on campus.

We had a great start to the new Hybrid Immersion MOT with our first student cohort in Fall 2023 at our Dallas, Texas, campus. And enrollment is now open for the Summer 2024 Hybrid Immersion MOT at our Miami, Florida, campus; then for Fall 2024 at our San Marcos, California, and St. Augustine, Florida, campuses.

Our OTA to OT Bridge program is offered in the same Residential, Hybrid Immersion and Flex formats and, depending on the format you choose, at each of our five campuses.
