Our MHS admissions requirements are put in place to help you succeed in the program.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in the health sciences. If your degree is not focused in health sciences, your application essay should illustrate how the MHS and chosen specialization, will enable you to reach your professional goals. - Official transcripts from the highest degree conferring institution are required and must be submitted to the University directly from the issuing institution.

- For those interested in the Athletic Training Specialization, residents of the USA, Canada and Ireland will need to provide evidence that you are a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), and/or a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), a Canadian Athletic Therapist (CAT) or an Athletic Rehabilitation Therapist Ireland (ARTI).
International Students Applying for Admission
Foreign-trained candidates who do not require a student visa to participate in University courses and/or degrees can be considered for admission.
For those interested in the Athletic Training Specialization, International students from countries other than USA, Canada and Ireland must meet with the program director or student academic advisor to discuss specialization coursework.
If you completed your education in a foreign country, you must submit an original copy of a degree credentialing evaluation from an agency recognized by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). The evaluation must indicate previous education at the minimum level of a baccalaureate degree earned at an accredited college or university in the United States. Above average written communication skills are evaluated through the autobiography.
