CORONAVIRUS Update: USAHS plans a full return to campus for 2021 Fall Term courses and lab sessions. USAHS expects to resume all in-person classes and on-campus academic activities, such as regularly scheduled residencies, weekend labs and course intensives, with the September 7 Fall Term start.

Amber Lemmon is the Clinical Coordinator for the USAHS MS-SLP program on the Dallas campus. Her area of interests in the field of speech-language pathology include dysphagia within the geriatric population and cognitive-communication within the geriatric population. She is especially interested in memory and how it affects quality of life. She enjoys empowering patients through education and implementation of personalized strategies to allow them to manage as independently as possible, and promotes intervening when deficits are mild to set the person up for success down the road. In her coordinator role, Amber strives to provide dynamic approaches to learning and build strong relationships with clinical sites. When off campus, she enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband and dog.
