University of St. Augustine Names New Master of Occupational Therapy Program Director

St. Augustine, Floridaโ€”February 05, 2015โ€”The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences announced that Dr. Anne Hull has beenย promoted to program director of the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) on the St. Augustine campus. She will continue to oversee the Flex MOT program until an assistant director is hired.

Since 2005, Dr. Hull has held many roles at the university. She began as a faculty member, and has also served as the program director for the MOT flex program and Transitional Doctor of Occupational Therapy.

โ€œWe are fortunate to have her experience and leadership in this position,โ€ said Dr. Karen Howell, chair of the universityโ€™s Institute of Occupational Therapy. โ€œShe has a depth and breadth of experience that will serve her well by allowing her to make significant contributions to our well-developed programs.โ€

Before joining the University of St. Augustine, Dr. Hull was a faculty member and program director at Florida International University. She has also served as a faculty member at Wayne State University in Michigan, Texas Womanโ€™s University, Eastern Michigan University and Towson University in Maryland. She has also served as director of professional development and education accreditation at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Dr. Hull received her Doctor of Education from the University of St. Augustine, a bachelorโ€™s in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University, a masterโ€™s in education from the University of Michigan and a masterโ€™s in developmental psychology from Florida International University. Her doctoral dissertation explored inter-professional education in graduate health care programs.
