Dr. Fahed Mehyar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences. He earned his BS in Physical Therapy from The Hashemite University in Jordan and his PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he also completed a Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education. Dr. Mehyar has over 20 years of experience in physical therapy education, clinical practice, and research. His teaching expertise includes musculoskeletal physical therapy, clinical kinesiology, therapeutic exercise, evidence-based practice, and research methods. His scholarly work focuses on lumbar spine mobilization, and chronic low back pain. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations and currently serves as a reviewer for professional journals. Dr. Mehyar maintains active clinical practice and is engaged in ongoing research related to blood flow restriction training.
