Kimberlee Moore, EDD

Kimberlee Moore, MPPWith expertise directing organizations on the improvement, development and implementation of their organizational and quality assurance practices, Kimberlee Moore is a recognized leader in higher education and accreditation.

She most recently served as the Chief Accreditation Officer for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), where she led the accreditation unit for the successful oversight of approximately 380 graduate programs while ensuring the organization’s status as the leading quality assurance provider for the audiology and speech-language professions within the United States. At ASHA, she also created and implemented the annual Council on Academic Accreditation professional development series.

Moore has held leadership positions launching new programs and overseeing quality assurance activities for higher education institutions in the United States, Ecuador, Italy, New Zealand and Turkey. She has vast experience in initial accreditation and reaffirmations within diverse regulatory environments that also spans pivotal advisory roles for non-profit and private sector organizations.

Advancing best practices in quality assurance on a global scale, Moore actively presents at national and international conferences. Topics have included  “An Integrated Approach to People Development across the QA Organization,” the “Evaluation of Challenges for the Accreditation and Oversight of Third-Party Ed-Tech Providers” and “Exploring a Culture of Fairness, Respect and Anti-racism through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Health Professions Education.”

Moore holds a doctorate in Education from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, UK; a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD; a post-graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.; and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA.
