Personal stuff: Both of Rich’s parents spent part of their childhoods in forced labor camps in Germany during WWII. As a first-generation American and first-gen to complete college, Rich developed a deep belief in the transformational impact of education in improving social mobility and the importance of creating access to quality education for all. Rich is married to his wife Mary and they have two college-age children. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, and nearly any activity in the great outdoors.
