This core team of USAHS leaders launched the Center for Innovative Clinical Practice (CICP) and continues to oversee its function.
Executive Director, Strategic Online Initiatives
Dr. Maria Puzziferro leads the Innovation Steering Committee, which fosters innovative approaches to the curricular integration of educational technologies such as simulation, and the advancement of teaching excellence through new approaches and frameworks.
Director, Online Learning Innovation and Support
Dr. Kayla Collins participates on the Innovation Steering Committee and provides support to faculty for facilitating technology-rich teaching and learning experiences for students.
Assistant Professor, MOT Program
Dr. Elisabeth McGee is the Vice Chair of the Innovation Steering Committee. She is a pioneer in identifying new tools and approaches that support technology innovation and simulation education as instructional differentiators for USAHS students.
Ms. Zwart is the Simulation Coordinator, and oversees the management, operations, and activities of the CICPs. She works with faculty and staff to support effective and safe simulation environments that employ current and best practices in simulation.
Clinical Simulation Specialist, St. Augustine
Ms. Roy maintains the operations of the St. Augustine CICP. She works closely with faculty and students to support all aspects of center activities including simulation setup, faculty support for simulation activities, and operation of the AV systems.
Interim Clinical Simulation Specialist, St. Augustine
Ms. McCowan maintains the operations of the Austin CICP. She works closely with faculty and students to support all aspects of center activities including simulation setup, faculty support for simulation activities, and operation of the AV systems.
