Adrian Bueno earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. She has a longstanding passion for upper extremity rehabilitation and earned her Certified Hand Therapist credential in 2020. Her clinical experience includes pre- and post-operative care, custom orthotics, return-to-work rehabilitation, and patient advocacy across orthopedic and hand therapy settings

Adrian joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences as a contributing faculty member in the summer of 2024, leading and assisting in courses within the OTD residential, OTD flex, and hybrid immersion programs. As she transitions to a core faculty role, she remains committed to academic excellence, student mentorship, and the integration of evidence-informed, occupation-based practices across curricula. Her professional interests include occupation-based interventions, clinical reasoning, and delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. She is currently pursuing her post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, with anticipated completion in 2026.
