She has more than a decade of experience in outpatient and private practice, including seven years as the owner of a private practice before transitioning to full-time academia and virtual physical therapy. She began teaching in academia in 2018 and joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2021, moving into a full-time faculty role in 2025.

Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University. She also completed a pelvic health residency at Texas Woman’s University and Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation, where her training emphasized maternal health, oncology, chronic pain, and lymphedema. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in women’s health and provides care for individuals with a pelvis over the age of 18.

In her clinical practice, Dr. Brown integrates yoga, Pilates, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education to support individuals across the pregnancy and postpartum spectrum, with a strong emphasis on holistic wellness. She has also designed continuing education courses for clinicians, developed structured wellness programs for communities, and presented workshops nationwide on pelvic health, financial wellness for healthcare providers, and work-life balance.
