Dr. Dan Calvo is an Occupational Therapy (OT) Instructor in the Flex OT program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences’ St. Augustine, FL campus. He joined the University in August 2023. With a background in clinical practice, he has worked in various healthcare settings including skilled nursing, acute and rehab hospitals, hand therapy, home health and management roles. Dr. Calvo’s has taught the introduction of biophysical agents, virtual reality and other therapeutic tools to optimize patient outcomes to clinicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech-language pathologists.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida Southern College, a master’s and doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
