Dr. F. Scott Feil has been a Physical Therapist for 19 years and practiced in every setting imaginable. He graduated with a BA in English from Wake Forest University in 2001, a Masters in Physical Therapy from East Carolina in 2006, a t-DPT from University of St Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) in 2013, and an EdD from USAHS in 2018.

Dr. Feil taught in the DPT Flex Program at the Austin, TX campus from 2020 to 2024 before transitioning to Senior Learning and Development Specialist helping professors educate better and students learn better before returning to teach for the Dallas, TX campus Hybrid Immersion DPT program. He served on the Education Committee for the APTA’s Private Practice Section for six years and has a research interest in Financial Literacy and DPT Student and New Grad Business Acumen. He was also an integral part of starting the USAHS student run organization Business, Entrepreneurs, and Private Practice Student Special Interest Group (BEPPSSIG).

Dr. Feil is an Assistant Professor at USAHS, teaching Health Promotion Fitness and Wellness, Teaching and Learning and is an Amazon best-selling author of “PT Educator’s Student Debt Eliminator” and most recently worked in a Skilled Nursing Facility and for a Home Health Agency. Dr Feil’s primary specialties are Business, Geriatrics, and Service Based Learning.
