Dr. Romero received his Bachelor of Science from the Cuban University of Sports Sciences and his Master of Science from California University of Pennsylvania, and then received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from A. T. Still University of Health Sciences and his Doctor of Philosophy from University of Baja California. He is a practicing Physical Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He’s practiced in multiple settings including with professional sports teams/athletes, outpatient, and home health. He has been teaching since 1994 with a focus on Sports Physical Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise, Musculoskeletal, Orthopedics, Movement Sciences, Strength and Conditioning, and Motor Learning. He has been a Judo athlete and coach for more than 40 years combined and currently holds the rank of 6th degree black belt. His passion is to impart his professional experiences and expertise into the classroom setting to enhance the students understanding.
