Dr. Jacqueline Achon has more than five years as an occupational therapy practitioner. She has worked in adult and geriatric settings primarily in inpatient acute rehab. She has worked in a skilled nursing facility and home health settings. She earned a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Florida International University. She obtained a post-professional doctorate at Chatham University.

Her areas of interest are neuro rehabilitation, fall prevention and geriatric aging. She works closely with brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injuries, geriatrics and young adults. She is a Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist as well as a Certified Fall Prevention Specialist. She joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2020.
