Dr. Jenny Williams joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in 2025. Prior to that, she was an adjunct instructor at Maryville University for seven years while working full-time as an occupational therapist since 2008.
Dr. Williams has worked in a variety of settings, including community hospitals, home health, skilled nursing facilities, and early intervention. Most of her clinical practice has been focused on older adults, home care, and community-based care. She started a private practice in 2021, where she continued her work in home and community-based care. Her special interests include private practice, age-friendly initiatives, and healthy aging.
Dr. Williams is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) as well as the Missouri Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA). Dr. Williams was elected as the Missouri representative to AOTA in 2023 to serve a three-year term. She presented at AOTA in 2023 and at MOTA in 2022 on community engagement and aging.
